THE CABINS
The cabins were built in the 1940s. So when we say rustic, we mean rustic! Luckily, they have been renovated through the years. If walls could talk, we’d sure listen!
Each cabin has a modern kitchen, a 3/4 bath and (unfortunately) very limited outlets.
Availability By Cabin
The campgrounds
We’re not sure when the Lakeside campground began. There is a picture from 1970 with cabins along the road. From what we can gather these were behind the bar and along the road where sites L25 through L30 currently are. We have an additional photo from 1970 with an RV shown, near where the current cabins are.
The Forest campground was mostly finished by 2015, when some of the campers moved from Lakeside to the new sites. The remaining sites filled in quickly from there.
In 2025 Lakeside was upgraded to 50-30-20 electrical service.
Currently, in 2026, we are working on sewer hookups for the remaining sites in Lakeside and finalizing the last remaining spots we were allotted by Douglas County.
