THE CAMPGROUNDS

YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Over 60+ acres to explore

With so many places to look, you never know what you may see. This photo was taken by one of our campers in 2025.

We regularly see deer, flying squirrels and any number of birds. There are also loads of bugs to catch and snakes to see, if you or your kids enjoy those types of critters.

In mid to late summer, there are blueberries everywhere (but don’t let our daughter tell you we let you know)!

Water activities

One of our campers caught this beauty in 2025. Being on the 172 acre Cranberry Lake, which connects to the 1,564 acre Minong Flowage there are plenty of places to cast your line.

If fishing isn’t your jam, we do have 595 feet of shoreline, which is great for “giggin’ frogs” and the beach is great place for a lazy day at the waters edge.

If you enjoy a little trip around the lake on your watercraft, we recommend the ride from the campground over to the Minong Flowage. Hang out on one of the islands, take the Dam Tour or just Redneck Yacht Club the day away with friends and family.

LAKESIDE CAMPGROUND

There are 31 seasonal sites in the Lakeside section and all are equipped with 50-30-20 amp electrical service that was added in 2025. All sites include water hookups. Some sites include sewer hookups.

A portion of the sites require septic tanks that are housed under the camper and are emptied as needed by Mr. Biffy’s septic service.

We are in the process to upgrading the majority of these remaining sites to full septic (hopefully by the end of 2026!)

We have campsites available in both campgrounds, so if you are interested in joining the Up North family, please see how to contact us at the bottom of this page.

We are also in the process of building the last of the campsites we were allotted by the county, hopefully completed before the end of the 2026 season!

Forest Campground

There are 57 seasonal sites in the Forest section and all are equipped with 50-30-20 amp electrical service. All sites include water and sewer hookups.

Two pull in camper sites available for short term rental. They are located next to site F45, have 50-30-20 amp electrical service and water hookup.

All campers (seasonal and temporary) have access to the sewer dump station, which is located at the Forest entrance.
